Sinopsis
The era of the Trente Glorieuses between 1945 and 1975 was characterized by an outstanding economic growth of the Western European economies. This went along with a considerable intensification of multilateral relations between the nation-states of a political level as well as an economic level. This book deals with several case studies concerning economic and political relations between Western European states in the era of the Trente Glorieuses (1945-1975).
After her PhD at the European University Institute(Florence) and the EHESS (Paris), Régine Perron became a lecturer at the University of Geneva, then a visiting scholar at the Center for European Studies of Harvard, a Jean Monnet fellow at the EUI, and is now an associate professor at Cergy-Pontoise University and also an associate researcher at the Centre Roland Mousnier of the University of Paris-IV Sorbonne. She is currently working on the history of European integration, the relationship between Europe and the United States, and multilateralism as an international system established since 1945. |
