Lecturer / Post-Doc
We offer a 2/3 position as Lecturer/ Post-Doc, limited for 3 years (with the
possibility of extension for another 3 years) within the Department of
Economics at Humboldt University Berlin. We invite applications from both PhD
candidates in the field of economic history as well as from PhD hlders in
the areas of economic history, international economics and economic
geography.
Areas of Responsibility:
•Research and teaching in economic history and economics
•Preparation and organization of academic conferences and workshops
Requirements:
•University degree in economics or economic geography; if applicable Ph.D.
•Very good knowledge of economics and modern and recent history
•Very good command of spoken and written English, willingness to learn
German
•Strong proficiency in information technology, including standard
econometrics packages
