Call for Papers: 6th Sound Economic History Workshop

The main aim of the workshop is to gather new researchers in a friendly and
collegial environment where they can present their research and receive
constructive criticism from their peers and leading economic historians.
Another aim of the workshop is to demonstrate the breadth of Economic History
as an academic iscipline, so there is no theme to the workshop, and
submissions are encouraged from any sub-field of economic and social history.
The workshop is open for presentations by PhD students and post-docs.
Non-presenters are also encouraged to participate, so please register even if
you do not wish to present a paper. Scandinavian scholars or scholars based
in Scandinavia will be given preference. Please note that there will be a
registration fee of 550 NOK (€ 70).
Deadline for submission of abstract (one page): July 31st
Notification of acceptance: August 8
Registration, payment of registration fee and full paper due by: August 21
