Lund University announces one or more positions as Associate Senior
Lecturer in Finance. The position is for full time employment, limited to four
year, and is placed, contingent on discussions with the applicant to be
employed, at one of the following departments at the Lund University
School of Economics and Management: The Department of Business
Administration, the Department of Business Law, the Department of
Economic History, or the Department of Economics.
To be considered qualified for appointment as an associate senior
lecturer, the applicant must hold a doctorate or an equivalent foreign
degree. Priority will be given to candidates who have completed their
degree no more than five years before the last date for application. Candidates who have completed their degree earlier than this should
receive equal priority only if special grounds exist. Special grounds
include leave of absence because of sickness, service in the defence
forces, positions of trust in trade union organisations and student
organisations, parental leave and other similar circumstances.
The holder will conduct research in finance. The position entails at
least 60% research. The position may also include teaching,
supervision, and administrative work. A position as associate senior
lecturer is limited to four years, with a possible extension of one year
if the lecturer has been engaged in teaching more than 25% of the
working time.
Applicants with other than Swedish as mother tongue are expected to be
able to teach in Swedish in two years time. The associate senior
lecturer is expected to be active in applying for external research
funding.
