This workshop aims at offering scholars working on trade policy in history an opportunity to discuss their recent work. We welcome papers
on measurement of trade barriers, on the effects of trade policy on the
integration of markets, on the relation between economic crisis, trade policy reactions and economic growth and so on. We would particularly
appreciate papers on countries and areas so far overlooked in the
literature, such as the European periphery, Latin America and Asia.
This Conference will take place in Madrid (May 13h and 14th of 2010)
