SECOND CLADE CONGRESS (LATIN AMERICAN CONGRESS OF ECONOMIC HISTORY),
(C. Cultural Universitario Tlatelolco, Mexico City – February 3 to 5, 2010)
The II CLADE was held in Mexico City with a successful participation of Latin American economic historians together with internationally renowned specialists.

The organizing institution was the AMHE (Mexican Association of Economic History (President: Luis Jauregui) in collaboration with the Latin American Economic History Associations. The Spanish and Portuguese associations of economic history were invited. This congress took place at the same time as the AMHE-IV (IV international congress of the Mexican Association of Economic History).
The distinguished Professor of Economics, History, Language and Communication at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Deirdre N. McCloskey, gave a master lecture entitle "The ethical dimension in economic history”.
