X International Congress of the AEHE
Carmona (Sevilla) , September 8-9, 2011
The X International Congress of the AEHE will take place at the University Pablo de Olavide, Sevilla, at its headquarter in Carmona.

On November / December 1, 2009, a call for papers for the submission of:
- Papers for plenary sessions on the following topics:
- The economic impact in Spain and Latin America from the independence of the colonies and the liberal revolution.
- The economic crisis in historic perspective.
- Papers and session proposals on any issue of Economic History. The concurrent sessions will contain a maximum of eight submissions each.
- Papers for a session on dissertations in progress.
- Posters on ongoing investigations.
The deadline for the submission of abstracts and session proposals is 30 September, 2010.
The date of acceptance of papers and meetings shall be 15 December, 2010.
The final delivery date of papers and posters will be June 1, 2011.

Murcia, September 9-12, 2008
It was organized by the University of Murcia together with the Polytechnics University, Cartagena, and was co-financed by the MEC and the Fundación Seneca together with other public and private institutions
Summary of the activity:
The IX International Congress of the AEHE was held in September 9-12, 2008 in the cities of Murcia and Cartagena and was a great success both in the number of speakers and attendees which was close to 400.
