The II Meeting of the AEHE will be held in Madrid on September 9, 2010. The purpose of these meetings is for a limited number (Eight) of works to be discussed in a plenary session. This intensive day of work aims to encourage the presentation of innovative and quality works in economic history, show research lines that seem most promising, and encourage exchanges and discussions between partners. Also, the AEHE Assembly will take place and awards from the Association will be handed out.

Location: Alcalá de Henares, Madrid
The members of the Organizing Committee are Juan Carmona (Universidad Carlos III, Madrid), Rafael Dobado (Universidad Complutense), Pablo Martin Aceña (University of Alcalá), Patricio Sáez (Universidad Autónoma, Madrid) and acting Secretary: Elena Martínez Ruiz (Universidad de Alcalá).
The Scientific Committee responsible for the selection of proposals will be selected by the AEHE Executive Board and will be announced shortly.
Deadlines: The deadline for the submission of works ends on March 15, 2010. Any research on economic history is welcome. The works should be sent to: elena.martinez@uah.es
Communication of selected papers: the selected works will be announced by the Secretariat in News and the AEHE website no later than April 15, 2010. |
